Affiliate disclosure
Totally Phuket is an independent site, and we keep it running partly through affiliate links — meaning if you click through and sign up or buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects the price you pay.
We currently work with two programs, shown as small links or cards rather than banner ads:
- Wise — the card and account we genuinely use ourselves for spending and withdrawing money while travelling. If you sign up through our link, we may receive a referral reward.
- Amazon Associates — as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made through our links to Amazon's travel accessories store.
We only link to products and services we'd genuinely recommend regardless of the commission — an affiliate relationship is never the reason a page exists, and it doesn't change how we describe a place, hotel or activity anywhere else on the site.
What data we collect
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how the site is being used — this collects standard, non-identifying analytics data (pages visited, general location, device type) via cookies, and does not include anything you type into a form on this site, since we don't currently run any forms that submit data to us directly.
Clicking through to Wise or Amazon means you leave this site and become subject to their own privacy policies and cookie practices, which we don't control.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and, when you click an affiliate link, the destination site (Wise or Amazon) may set its own tracking cookie to attribute the referral correctly. We don't use cookies for advertising retargeting, and we don't sell visitor data to third parties.
