Ya Nui & Nui Beach

Small, clear-water coves near Promthep Cape, popular for snorkelling.

Ya Nui and Nui Beach sit near Promthep Cape at the island's southern tip — two small coves known for calm, clear water.

Ya Nui

A compact, sheltered beach popular for snorkelling directly offshore, with a small reef reachable without a boat — one of the more accessible snorkel spots on the island for that reason. See our water activities guide for how it compares to boat-based snorkelling trips.

Nui Beach

Smaller still and less developed, reached via a short, sometimes steep access road — quieter than Ya Nui as a result, and often nearly empty outside weekends.

What to bring

Neither beach has significant facilities beyond a few small vendors — bringing your own snorkel gear, water and sun protection is worth it rather than assuming rental will be readily available on-site.

Why visit

Both sit close enough to Promthep Cape and Rawai to combine into a single half-day loop covering sunset, snorkelling and a seafood dinner without much driving between stops.
