A number of dedicated co-working spaces have opened around Phuket Town, Chalong and parts of the west coast, offering day passes through to monthly memberships — useful both for reliable internet and for meeting other long-stay visitors.

Rawai, Chalong and parts of Karon see the largest long-stay remote-work community, generally favouring calmer, more residential areas over the busiest tourist strips.
A typical month-to-month setup

Community and meeting people
Co-working spaces, recurring meetups aimed at the long-stay foreign community, and fitness activities like Muay Thai gyms are the most common ways remote workers end up meeting others, beyond simply working alone from a condo.
